The AmeriGlide Express Dumbwaiter sets a new standard for ease of installation and low maintenance costs. Why is this? Because the Express uses a fundamentally different design than standard dumbwaiters that operate like min-elevators and cost nearly the same. Instead, the Express uses a car that has the motor, cable-drum drive system, and limit switches pre-installed underneath the car. The car is then pre-installed on a short section of track. Simply splice this piece of track into the overall track and you are nearly finished with installation!
